Initially, students may take SMT 1043 and SMT 1053, our prerequisites without any formal application tothe program. Thereafter, students can begin admission procedures when they enroll in SMT 3100 and complete the General Knowledge portion of the Florida Teacher Certification Exam (FTCE) and apply to the School of Teacher Education.
