Major Hours
- Knowing & Learning: 3 credit-hours
- Functions and Modeling (for math education students only): 3 credit-hours
- Classroom Interactions: 3 credit-hours
- Perspectives on Science & Mathematics (corequisite with content major): 3 credit-hours
- Project Based Instruction: 3 credit-hours
- Research Methods (corequisite with content major): 3 credit-hours
- Teaching for Equity in Diverse Mathematics & Science Classrooms: 3 credit-hours
- Secondary School Reading: 3 credit-hours
- Apprentice Teaching (student teaching internship): 6 credit-hours
Suggested course sequence for SSMT (FSU-Teach) secondary major
This secondary major requires that students be pursuing a primary major in one of the content areas (Biology, Chemistry, Geosciences, Physics and Mathematics). These primary majors are currently under development.
