Internships
Internships:
Noyce awards for summer internships will allow freshmen and sophomores to work in science/mathematics related summer programs for K-12 students. As most summer camps for K-12 students operate on a weekly basis, these internships will be weekly appointments with a maximum of two appointments per current FSU-Teach student or one appointment for students who are not in the program but are interested in exploring math or science teaching. Each internship will pay $450.00 as allowed by NSF; the total a student could earn would be $900.00.
Internships are available at the following organizations:
- Challenger Noyce Internship
- Tallahassee Museum Summer Camps
- SciGirls Summer Camps
- Saturday-at-the-Sea Summer Camp
To apply for one of these internships, print and complete this application and return it to Robin Smith (209 MCH, 645-8902 fax). For questions about the internships, please contact Robin Smith (smith@bio.fsu.edu). Do not contact the organization; a representative will contact you for an interview.
